LAB EQUIPMENT: ICP-OES

We show you in this article one of the equipments that we have in our laboratory for the analysis of samples. This is the ICP-OES equipment: Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy.

The simultaneous determination of small traces of impurities that our materials may contain is simplified with this technique, which allows very low concentrations to be quantified in a short period of time.

Liquid samples pass through a nebulizer, where an aerosol is produced that is excited into an argon plasma.

The energy of the excited atoms passes through an axial and radial optical system, from where we obtain the concentration of the analytes.

If you have any need, in terms of raw material analysis, do not hesitate to contact us to advise you on what you require.
